Last months newsletter was about Chelsea Blackmon, Zach Wright, and their daughter Kennedy. Chelsea shared her story about how the Women’s Enrichment Center and WEC Lotus Boutique & Designs influenced her life and how God was there in helping her overcome situations and answered her prayers. He gave her the desires of her heart when she began to obey Him! Chelsea shared with you that, even as a little girl, she had dreamed of teaching gymnastics and tumbling to others. God knows our heart and He not only brought her through difficult situations in His time, he answered her prayers. She has become the owner of a gymnastics and tumble and roll company and was even given the opportunity to teach a former WEC clients child. 

Now, I would like to share a dream of mine. I was having a conversation one day with a dear friend, Ann Ferguson, in June of this year. I was sharing the designs that were trending for Christmas, 2019. The conversation then moved to my dream, “wouldn’t it be wonderful to decorate the White House, the “people’s” house?” Ann and I both agreed that for each of us, this would truly be a dream come true. After Ann and I departed, the subject stayed on my mind for weeks. Out of nowhere, I kept hearing the words, “delight yourself also in the Lord, And he shall give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4. 

As you read this, Ann and I are packing and preparing to go to decorate the White House for Christmas! We were chosen! We were called! We were blessed! This is an amazing, once in a lifetime opportunity.
